The Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship (MMUF) is a prestigious national program focused on increasing the number of historically excluded students pursuing doctorate degrees in core fields in the arts and sciences. Fellowships include mentoring, research stipends, and travel support (conferences, graduate school visits, etc.). Students with a historically marginalized background or identity(ies)
Demonstrated interest in pursuing a Ph.D. in an MMUF-approved course of study: Earth Science, Geology, Ecology, Mathematics, Astronomy, Computer Science, and Physics
Requirements
Participate in Bi-Monthly Meetings
Meet with Graduate Coordinator twice a month
Attend Annual Regional Conference
Participate in Research with a Faculty Mentor
