Affinity Spaces

Affinity Spaces
The Caltech Center for Inclusion & Diversity (CCID) hosts various affinity spaces throughout the year. The purpose of these spaces is to build a strong, supportive community and coalitions for advocacy and allyship.
In the past, we brought together community members who are first-generation college students and graduates, folx and allies of the LGBTQIA community, People of Color, Women, Women of Color, Graduate & Postdoc, Postdocs from Historically Excluded communities, Men of Color, Agender, Non-Binary, and Gender-Expansive Identities, and members of Southwest Asian and North African (SWANA)/ Middle Eastern community, to name a few.
Affinity Spaces are open to anyone in the campus community, regardless of race, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual identity, and/or any other protected characteristic.
