First Generation Students at Caltech

First-Generation College Student & Graduate (First-Gen) Affinity spaces are for those who identify as first-generation students or graduates, meaning they are the first in their family to attend and graduate college in the United States.

It is coordinated by Arianna Valdez, Associate Director of the Caltech Center for Inclusion & Diversity. Arianna plans to build this space as a system of support for all who identify as First-Generation College students or graduates at Caltech. All students, staff, faculty, postdocs, and alumni are welcomed.
