Interested in learning about the LGBTQIA+ communities and how to better support these folx at Caltech? Join the CCID for our LGBTQIA+ 101 workshop! We'll go through the acronym, other helpful terminology, tips and tools for addressing bias, and local resources.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Identify what LGBTQIA+ means
2. Learn the differences between social/biological definitions around sex and gender
3. Identify and implement strategies to being an ally, accomplice, or co-conspirator
4. Know and share resources for LGBTQIA+ people at Caltech and within the greater Los Angeles community
